stayed here for 2 nights and the continental-style breakfast was an amazin start to our busy days! the family who run this place really know how to make u feel at home. I loved chillin in the garden, surrounded by flowers and fruit trees, it was so peaceful. plus, the deluxe double room was super comfy, perfect to relax after a long day. overall, would totally recommend this place for a short getaway!
the kitchen can be shared with other guests, which might not be everyone's vibe. also, parking was a little tight, so keep that in mind if ur driving.

easy strolls to salcey forest and the canal museum
staying for two nights was lovely, especially with salcey forest being just under 3 km away for a nice walk and the canal museum only about 5 km away for some cool sights, making my weekend explorations truly enjoyable.

Clean, reasonably furnished rooms with a well-equipped kitchen area.
Parking's a challenge, especially if you're not the most confident behind the wheel. The breakfast room's awkwardly placed between two bedrooms, leading to noise that may disrupt a peaceful morning. The rooms could use more comfort features. for instance, just one chair in a double room feels lacking, and supplies like paper towels were nowhere to be found.

Charming garden setting for relaxation, High-quality room finishes and character, Close proximity to Salcey Forest for outdoor activities
Parking situation can be a tight squeeze, making it stressful for larger vehicles!!! The shared kitchen noise can be quite bothersome during your stay for someone who values peace!!!

Perfect for a cozy getaway
Simon, the host, was very welcoming! The breakfast he prepared was exceptional, and I really enjoyed the comfort of the quiet room. I could help myself to anything I wanted in the cozy kitchen, allowing me to unwind and have a drink whenever I pleased.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly still worth it for the quality.
